t has happened to many users – with our App, but also with other applications – that they have purchased an InApp Purchase and find themselves not seeing their active purchase 😤.
The system of managing purchases of consumable and subscription products (the InApp Purchase) can sometimes get stuck of many different causes.
However, solving the problem with our app is really simple 😉.
There is a menu in the app that contains a section dedicated to purchases.
One of the buttons present is the “Restore Purchases.”
The “Restore Purchases” function for iPhone and iPad
The Restore Purchases button is a function that verifies on Apple’s servers all purchases made and confirms that they have been properly transacted and retrieves them within the app.
The function is very convenient for those who have downloaded the app to another device, or have simply reinstalled it.
What to do if the “Restore Purchases” doesn’t work properly
Each device brings with it its own set of applications, its own consumption of memory, data and whatever else configured and managed by its owner.
The variables are really many and it can therefore happen sometimes that something goes wrong in restoring purchases.
